泛式建筑 / far workshop 是一家年轻且富有创造力的跨学科设计事务所。

我们是一个对本质有着执着追求的建筑事务所。

我们着迷于 “物” 的实在，对附着其上的符号始终保持怀疑。大量建筑被风格、叙事与图像层层包裹，渐渐远离建造最初的命题。我们向往剥离这些后天附加物之后，那一个被称之为房屋的建筑本体。它不为输出预设象征，只忠实于材料、构造与人的生活。我们不求绝对归零的乌托邦，而是以祛魅的姿态，消解人为强加的修辞，让空间重新回到安置人的现实。

基于这一立场，我们不依赖夸张的造型制造冲击，转而对空间秩序、结构逻辑与建造构造做出审慎的非常规操作，对固化的建造范式适度偏移、拆解与重构，剥离附加在建筑之上的风格滤镜，还原材料、力与空间的本真状态。我们希望经由这样的实践，打破人们对周遭环境习以为常的麻木，促使使用者在行走、停留与沉浸之中，重新审视事物的本来面貌，开启对于空间本源、人与环境关系的深度思考。

与此同时，我们也将这套对物与房屋本体的思考投射于乡村实践。乡村本是扎根现实生活的建造场域，却也常常被消费化的乡土符号所裹挟。我们并不追求对传统样式的表面转译，而是立足当代建造条件，直面乡村真实的空间现状，观察、回应在这里发生的人的活动，探索属于本土的建造可能。

事务所项目屡屡发表在世界著名设计媒体及网站，包括Wallpaper, DIVISARE，Designboom, Dezzen, Archdaily, Archello, designverse 以及Gooood 等。同时入选著名杂志Wallpaper 2024年黄金六十，荣获gooood媒体2024年年度设计代表，有方2022年度新锐建筑事务所，多个项目获得Archdaily及Designverse年度建筑提名。

泛式建筑 / far workshop, founded by Wang Mangyuan, is a young and creative interdisciplinary design studio. 

We are an architectural practice with an unwavering pursuit of essence.

Fascinated by the tangibility of “things”, we remain sceptical of the symbols imposed upon them. Much of contemporary architecture is wrapped in layers of style, narrative and imagery, drifting away from the fundamental proposition of construction. We aspire to uncover the very essence of a building, stripped of these extrinsic additions. It carries no predetermined symbolism, but remains faithful to materials, tectonics and human inhabitation. Rather than chasing an utopia of absolute tabula rasa, we adopt a disenchanting stance to dissolve artificially imposed rhetoric, returning space to its fundamental role of accommodating human life.

From this position, we refrain from creating dramatic impact through exaggerated forms. Instead, we conduct deliberate, unconventional manipulations of spatial order, structural logic and constructional tectonics. We subtly shift, deconstruct and reconfigure established building conventions, stripping away stylistic filters to restore the intrinsic quality of materials, forces and space. Through such practice, we seek to break people’s habitual numbness toward their surroundings. As occupants move, pause and immerse themselves within space, we invite them to re-examine the true nature of things, and initiate profound reflection on the origin of space and the relationship between humans and their environment.
